Twitter has taken over! One of my best friends got me on Twitter during it’s rise to fame and glory. I’ve realized it’s a very useful tool to get story ideas and all sorts of information.

What is more convenient than an online resume?

Welcome to my site. I figured that in the midst of this progressive period for the media, it’d be more convenient if I shared my resume package to potential employers on a Web site.

I will graduate in May 2009 from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and two minors in psychology and political science. I will have a 3.6 GPA.

I’m on the Dean’s List and in the honor’s society for my major.

At SDSU I was a member of the SPJ club (I’m also a national SPJ member), College Democrats club, Scholars Without Borders club and Lambda Pi Eta Honors Society.

I also have volunteered with many organizations and projects in San Diego, including the Alzheimer’s Association, teaching children how to read and Meels on Wheels.

My employment in my field is as follows…

The Daily Aztec

Opinion columnist: June 2006-August 2006

Assistant Opinion Editor: September 2006-May 2007

Opinion Editor: May 2007-May 2008

Editor in Chief: May 2008-May 2009

KPBS

Intern: September 2008-December 2008

San Diego Union-Tribune

Intern: February 2009-May 2009
